As the excitement builds for the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025, two prominent Indian esports organizations, GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports, face significant hurdles. Both teams are grappling with visa troubles that threaten their participation in this prestigious event, scheduled to occur in Katowice, Poland.
GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports are facing visa issues ahead of their appearance at the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025. Several players from both organizations find themselves struggling to secure the necessary documentation to compete on this global stage.
Challenges for Indian Teams
On October 30th, 2025, GodLike Esports disclosed that a staggering four of their players are without visas. This predicament arises from the unavailability of appointments, putting the team at risk of missing the championship. GodLike Esports is a top-tier team in India, having secured second place in the 2023 World Championship, highlighting their impressive track record.
Meanwhile, S8UL Esports is also in jeopardy. Three players are anxiously awaiting visa approvals, with one player only managing to secure an appointment on November 4th, a mere three days before the tournament kickoff. “This is an important global esports event, and we request your kind assistance to help India participate at the World Championship,” urged Siddhant ‘Sid’ Joshi, Team Manager at S8UL Esports.
Visa Issues in Esports
These visa challenges aren’t unique to Indian teams. Earlier this year, Argentine esports organization BESTIA was replaced by Legacy at the BLAST.tv Austin Major due to similar issues in obtaining entry documents for the United States.
Scheduled for November 7th to 9th, the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2025 marks the culmination of the competitive season for Call of Duty Mobile. GodLike Esports has been placed in Group A, competing against teams like EOCHITL Gaming, Amigos Gaming, and the reigning champions, Elevate. S8UL Esports, on the other hand, is grouped in Group D alongside TLE Esports, B34R Clan, and Qing Jiu Club.
As the dates draw nearer, fans and players alike are hopeful these visa complications will be resolved, allowing both teams to showcase their skills on this major international platform.
