BLAST Bounty Season 1 2025
Lately, Team Spirit ended 2024 on a high note after winning the Perfect World Shanghai Major. They began the new year in style, clinching victories over Fnatic and FlyQuest in the qualifiers. After qualification, Team Spirit won against some heavy hitters like HEROIC and NAVI. Despite struggles in the Grand Final where they fell behind 0-1 during the first map against Eternal Fire, Team Spirit managed to emerge victorious 3-1 to take home $288,125. Danil ‘Donk’ Kryshkovets became important player to Team Spirit’s rise among the Counter-Strike elite.
IEM Katowice 2025
The squad known for winning the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, Team Vitality performed excellently at IEM Katowice 2025. After easily sweeping FaZe Clan and Virtus.pro, they faced Team Spirit in the final and put in an unrelenting performance, winning with a clean 3-0. This victory marked Vitality’s second accolade in the ESL Grand Slam Season 5.
PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025
MOUZ, placed sixth in the world by Valve, was a surprise at January’s PGL Cluj-Napoca. The German organization beat PaiN Gaming and Astralis, the team that gets to the Grand Final against Team Falcons. Despite Falcons’ looming roster tactics, MOUZ won 3-1, capturing their first LAN triumph since 2024.
ESL Pro League Season 21
After victory in IEM Katowice, Team Vitality stood firm at ESL Pro League Season 21 too. They topped their group without dropping a map and beat Team Liquid in the quarter-finals. Despite a challenging match against The MongolZ, they clinched the championship, marking their return to ESL Pro League’s winner’s circle since 2022.
BLAST Open Lisbon 2025
After winning the Pro League, Team Vitality quickly jumped back into action at BLAST Open Lisbon. They made their way through the bracket, facing Team Spirit and MOUZ leading up to a 3-2 win. Winning the tournament not only gave them a bigger share of the prize money, but also benefited their reputation in BLAST’s $2m revenue scheme.
PGL Bucharest 2025
From G2 Esports, Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov had an emotional farewell which was followed up by Team Falcons finding their feet after an early setback. Their capstone performance saw victories against PaiN Gaming, Rare Atom, and The MongolZ, eventually sweeping G2 Esports 3-0 in the Grand Final. This match was also Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif’s last event with the Falcons.
