The new Version 2.5 signals the end of an extensive update journey for this action role-playing title. Initially met with mixed reviews upon launch, the game has steadily improved its standing among players through multiple significant post-launch updates.

Previously, updates 1.5 and 2.0 were considered the closing notes for Lords of the Fallen, but continued feedback has inspired CI Games to craft one last update. This Version 2.5 overhauls enemy and boss behaviors while introducing a new Veteran Mode designed for those craving the ultimate test of skill.
Echoing the studio’s commitment to its community, CI Games’ creative strategist Ryan Hill stated, “We’ve prided ourselves on being a players-first studio, and we mean that.” He added that while Version 2.0 was a milestone, “we weren’t finished… It became clear that players wanted a greater challenge from both enemies and bosses, so we went back in and pushed those systems further.”

Version 2.5 brings significant enhancements to Legacy Mode, including new behaviors, movesets, and more aggressive foes, along with the all-new Veteran Mode for those who seek a steeper climb. The game now features revamped bosses with fresh behaviors and more challenging versions tailored for Veteran Mode enthusiasts. In addition to these new trials, players can earn unique rewards such as signature attack animations on boss weapons and a distinctive breastplate for conquering Veteran Mode.
