With three captivating new Sets and the much-anticipated return of Fates: Festival of Beasts, fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming year. The TFT Lunar Revel will kick off the festivities in January 2026, heralding a year full of thrilling updates and events.

Teamfight Tactics’ 2026 Sets
Fans can expect Set 17 to make its debut in Spring 2026, with a focus on the beloved carousel system and a theme that gazes into the cosmos. Set 18, arriving in the summer, promises to build upon a previous Set mechanic, with a lush forest theme adding a touch of magic. As the year draws to a close, Set 19 will bring a musical extravaganza in Winter 2026, described as “our biggest musical event yet.”
Riot Games also delighted fans by announcing the return of Pengu’s Party in June 2026, celebrating Teamfight Tactics’ seventh anniversary. The year will culminate in the TFT Las Vegas Open, slated for December 2026, bringing the competitive scene back to North America after international showcases in France and Macao.
Is More PvE Incoming?
Reflecting on Teamfight Tactics’ growth in 2025, Geoff Virtue and Peter Whalen shared insights into the game’s expansion into PvE, highlighting the success of Ao Shin’s Ascent. While the team is thrilled with its reception, Whalen advised fans not to expect new PvE offerings in 2026, noting that they are “just getting started.” Nonetheless, the community remains eager to see how Teamfight Tactics continues to evolve in the coming year.
