Danil ‘donk’ Kryshkovets, a member of Team Spirit, has once again topped the FACEIT leaderboards. This is the fifth season in a row that he has achieved this feat, making him one of the most consistent players in Counter-Strike 2.
He finished Season 5 with a massive ELO of 5,283, more than 400 points ahead of his closest rival—Maksim ‘kyousuke’ Lukin, who just joined Team Falcons. Kyousuke teammate Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov finished third on the leaderboard.
FACEIT: The Professional Training Ground
FACEIT has become an important service in the esports ecosystem by providing players with competitive matchmaking against players of the same rank. The arena is where professionals will go to gain practical experience and sharpen their Counter-Strike skills in a more controlled location.
FACEIT connects amateur and professional scenes which makes it really valuable. Young players get many chances to play with established CS2 stars, helping a new player to get noticed.

Regional Champions Crowned
Although donk ruled the overall leaderboard, multiple players had regional success in the FACEIT Pro League (FPL). Boris ‘Ryujin’ Kim of ARCRED took home the European FPL circuit with 4,851 ELO, 4th overall.
In other parts of the world, Stanley “Calamity” Chiu was crowned champion of North America, Marcos “Fokiu” Paulo topped South America and Zeyad “OSCAR” Alrummani became champion in the Middle Eastern circuit.
Season 6 Changes and Timeline
With winners being announced for Season 5, FACEIT has given us a preview for Season 6. In order to maintain the competitive balance, a soft ELO reset has been given to top players. The map pool has also changed slightly with Anubis leaving while Overpass makes a return. This was due to Valve’s decision to return Overpass to the Active Duty pool on 16 July 2025.
Season 6 kicks off on 22 July and will run until 23 November. This gives players just under four months to climb the ranks and dethrone donk from his incredible run.
