Silent Hill Townfall’s Imminent Release?
Silent Hill Townfall could be arriving in just four months, as hinted by a certain Mexican retailer. The store, known as Liverpool Mexico, briefly listed the highly anticipated game for release on March 26, 2026. This date is not a typical placeholder, sparking curiosity and excitement among fans. However, after the listing gained traction online, it was swiftly removed, raising suspicions that the game publisher, Annapurna Interactive, intervened to keep the details under wraps.
The sudden removal of the game’s listing hints at a premature disclosure, suggesting Liverpool Mexico may have released the information before official approval. The proposed launch date aligns with expectations, considering Silent Hill Townfall was part of KONAMI’s 2022 announcement of the franchise’s revival. Since then, Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f have been launched with much acclaim.
Silent Hill Townfall: A Risky Spin-off
Unlike its predecessors, Townfall is a spin-off set to be developed by Screen Burn, formerly known as No Code, a studio known for adventure games rather than horror. Despite concerns last year about a potential cancellation due to Annapurna Interactive’s difficulties, the studio assured fans that the game remains in development. Given the current timeline, if the release is indeed near, official announcements might drop soon, possibly at Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards later this year.
