Riot Unintentionally Reveals 2XKO’s Full Launch Date

Riot Games has unintentionally spilled the beans on the official release date of its much-anticipated fighting game, 2XKO. This revelation has set the gaming community abuzz as players eagerly await the full launch of this exciting title early next year.

Riot Leaks 2XKO Launch Date

On December 30th, attentive fans noticed a trailer on the 2XKO YouTube channel that disclosed the game’s official launch date: January 20th, 2026. This trailer has now been made private, but not before the community caught wind of the exciting reveal. The free-to-play brawler, which has been accessible on PC in early access, is set to make its grand debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This marks the first full launch of 2XKO on both PC and consoles, offering a new arena for players to showcase their skills.

This isn’t the first time Riot has inadvertently released information about 2XKO. Previously, an unplanned reveal showcased Blitzcrank joining the game’s roster ahead of schedule.

2XKO Fighter Lineup and Launch Details

Upon its release, 2XKO will boast an impressive roster of fighters, including popular characters like Ahri, Blitzcrank, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, Teemo, Vi, Warwick, and Yasuo. The game will be introduced as a free-to-play offering, with optional paid content such as a Battle Pass and various cosmetics to enhance player experience.

Riot Games is also gearing up for 2XKO’s presence in the competitive gaming scene. With esports already mapped out for 2026, the game will be featured in third-party competitions, including Frosty Faustings XVIII, as well as the Evo events in Japan and Las Vegas.
