Riot Games is set to make a splash at the inaugural Rolling Loud India, bringing VALORANT to the forefront with an immersive experience zone at the upcoming hip-hop festival. This partnership is a first of its kind in India, marking a significant moment for both the gaming and music industries.
VALORANT Meets Rolling Loud
Rolling Loud India is scheduled for November 22nd–23rd at Loud Park in Navi Mumbai, featuring headliners like Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, and Indian rapper Divine. The collaboration highlights the intersection of gaming and music, offering a unique experience for attendees. This marks one of the first instances where VALORANT formally partners with a large-scale music festival, adding a new dimension to the event.
Interactive Fan Experiences
Visitors to the festival can explore a multi-sensory VALORANT installation, blending music with in-game elements. Fans will enjoy karaoke pods, quick-play challenges, and art spaces inspired by VALORANT’s universe. The initiative builds on previous music projects by Riot, such as the 2022 anthem ‘Raja’ and the track ‘Bunker’ featuring Mumbai artist Tienas.
A Growing Cultural Phenomenon
According to Arun Rajappa, Director of Publishing for Riot Games India, VALORANT captures the essence of its players through music and play, aligning perfectly with Rolling Loud’s cultural focus. Co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif emphasized how gaming naturally fits into the festival’s ethos of self-expression. This collaboration comes as VALORANT continues to grow its presence in South Asia, with Riot investing in regional events and community initiatives. Festival-goers should not miss the VALORANT zone during this two-day celebration.
