The National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) has embarked on an exciting new venture by collaborating with the renowned esports apparel brand, Raven. This strategic partnership marks a significant step in elevating the merchandise offerings available to the collegiate esports community across North America.

NACE has appointed Raven as its official merchandise partner in a deal that promises to enhance the apparel options for collegiate esports teams. The agreement will not only result in the creation of a digital storefront for easy online purchases but will also include dynamic on-site activations at key NACE events. The collaboration is set to kick off at the NACE Spring Grand Finals, bringing a fresh and vibrant experience to attendees.

According to reports, the partnership provides NACE members with exclusive benefits like discounts on merchandise and design services. Additionally, institutions will earn commissions on net sales, directly supporting their esports programs. “This partnership expands our ability to support member institutions with premium merch offerings and a premier digital experience for institutional fans and stakeholders,” said Riley Long, Executive Director at NACE. Raven’s commitment to quality and design aligns with NACE’s mission to enhance the professionalism and visibility of collegiate esports.

Beyond expanding its partnership endeavors, NACE remains dedicated to fostering competitive opportunities for students. This year, NACE teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment to revive the Overwatch Collegiate program, offering scholarship prizes exceeding $140,000. The initiative spans the 2025/26 academic year and features two competitive seasons.

Furthermore, NACE launched its Club Play pilot initiative, allowing members to compete in a variety of games, including Rocket League, League of Legends, VALORANT, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Call of Duty. This expansion of competitive tiers demonstrates NACE’s commitment to providing diverse and inclusive esports opportunities for students.

As esports merchandise grows in popularity, the partnership between Raven and NACE aims to ensure long-term sustainability for the association and its members. Raven’s expertise in apparel not only broadens merchandise offerings but also strengthens the economic foundations of collegiate esports programs.
