Rainbow Six Siege X Introduces Voice Chat Moderation to Combat Toxic Behaviour

Rainbow Six Siege X updated its Y10S3.3 patch to include a suite of new anti-toxicity tools by Ubisoft. This includes voice chat moderation to mitigate toxicity.

Starting on October 14th, 2025, players entering casual and competitive matches will see a new panel, declaring that ‘disruptive voice or text chat has been detected’ during games.  This feature’s intent is to foster a more positive gaming environment within Siege.

If you have a good reputation level, you’ll be able to provide feedback on incorrect detections. This will help make sure that punishments are fair and appropriate. To kick off this new beginning, Ubisoft reset all current notices relating to voice chat detection. This means the community has a clean slate for this new beginning of the tenth year.

Ongoing Improvements to Rainbow Six Siege X

Ubisoft will continue their work in Rainbow Six Siege X anti-toxicity features among other things. This month, the creator said he would work on the anti-cheat system, game balance, and ranked play before the Munich Major.

The BLAST R6 Munich Major will take place from 8-16 November 2023 and it has a prize pool of R14,050,000. Further, there will be 16 teams that will be competing for the grand prize. The champion of the tournament will gain direct entry to the Six Invitational 2026.

Ubisoft and Rainbow Six franchise will witness an important and major change in October. The company has launched Vantage Studios, a development company that will manage Siege’s expansion, alongside major franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.

Industry-Wide Efforts Against Online Toxicity

Rainbow Six Siege X is focusing on the player behavior issues as other titles have done. Back in May, Riot Games announced a brand-new system to punish bad behavior, and encourage players to be more courteous towards each other.
