Counter-Strike 2 has recently seen a significant shift as Aleksei ‘Qikert’ Golubev has parted ways with MIBR, ending his three-month tenure with the Brazilian esports organization. This change comes after a challenging season for Qikert, who joined MIBR in September 2025 to help transition the team into an international roster.
Qikert’s Departure from MIBR
During his stint with MIBR, Qikert faced a challenging time, notably struggling to make a significant impact at the StarLadder Budapest Major. The team was unable to secure a win in their three Swiss stage matches. Qikert has expressed his desire to lead a team once again, drawing from his experience as an in-game leader with Into the Breach and Parivision. He remains determined to return to Tier 1 tournaments and compete at the highest levels of esports.
Looking Ahead: Parivision in 2026
As Qikert seeks a new chapter, Parivision is also marking changes for the 2026 season. The Serbian organization recently parted with Andrey ‘AW’ Anisimov, bringing in Ivan ‘zweih’ Gogin from Team Spirit to bolster their roster. Parivision is gearing up for the BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 closed qualifiers, running from January 13th to 18th. Success in these qualifiers could secure them a spot in the LAN finals, along with crucial Valve Regional Standings points.
