To access this feature, a subscription to the highest tier, PS Plus Premium, is necessary. It’s important to note that not all games in your digital library are eligible for streaming, as availability is region-dependent. However, with thousands of games ready for streaming, users are likely to find their favorites playable online.
Enhancements and Accessibility
With this update, beta testers and new users alike will notice several enhancements. A revamped remote play home screen is now available alongside a dedicated cloud streaming home screen. The updated search feature enables easier identification of games available for streaming. Additionally, users can enjoy 3D audio and a network status screen to monitor connection quality. A passcode lock feature has also been introduced for added security.
Users can now utilize accessibility features such as screen readers and font size adjustments during cloud streaming. Game invitations function seamlessly, and in-game purchases can be made while streaming. Despite the delayed release of this anticipated feature, PS Portal users can now fully enjoy cloud streaming capabilities.
