Exciting news for fans of Palworld: a major new update is here, merging fresh content with beloved features. This latest patch, called Home Sweet Home, brings an intriguing collaboration with Ultrakill and numerous enhancements as Pocketpair readies the game for its much-anticipated 1.0 release in 2026.
John “Bucky” Buckley, the communications director and publishing manager, enthusiastically announced that the update sets the stage for the massive version 1.0 while offering delightful surprises for players to explore in the meantime.
Home Sweet Home Update Details
The Ultrakill collaboration introduces several “iconic weapons and armor,” alongside V1’s memorable coin toss feature. Home Sweet Home emphasizes the joy of creating your own sanctuary, making it simpler and more enjoyable to establish a cozy base.
Acknowledging the creativity of players’ builds, Pocketpair added new building parts such as triangular pieces and allowed customization of building colors. Improvements also extend to the building menu UI, which has transitioned to a user-friendly list format. Additionally, melee combat has been enhanced for a more dynamic experience, and players now have the option to face raid bosses in either their base or a designated Raid Area, minimizing the risk to personal bases.
The team expressed their excitement about the developments made in 2025, aiming to refine game elements in preparation for future enhancements. This update, while not as packed with content as previous ones, lays essential groundwork for the development of Palworld 1.0.
Experimental PvP and New Features
In a thrilling move, PvP has been introduced experimentally. Though integrating PvP has been a challenge, players now have the tools to establish their own rules and engage in competitive play. Despite being experimental, this feature invites players to showcase their skills and compete against fellow Pal Tamers.
