New Free Content Drops for STALKER 2 on December 16

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set to receive a significant update tomorrow, introducing a wealth of free content across all platforms. Players will delve into fresh adventures and face new challenges, as unveiled by the Ukrainian developers.

Exciting New Quests and Locations

In this update, players can anticipate eight immersive quests that promise hours of exploration. As you navigate through seven new locations, you’ll interact with six distinct characters, each with their own compelling backgrounds. Additionally, a unique weapon and a new hub await discovery, enhancing the gameplay experience.

Unraveling Mysteries in the Zone

The storyline kicks off with bizarre happenings near the Malachite area, where disrupted communications have led to unsettling phenomena such as headaches and hallucinations. Amidst this chaos, Professor Medulin and radio enthusiast Banzai are at the forefront of the investigation, inviting players to uncover the truth behind these anomalies. Players will need to rely on their intuition to explore the depths of the mystery.

After the update, you’ll be able to tune into an emergency transmission, leading you to the enigmatic Red Forest region. Your choices will play a crucial role in unveiling the secrets hidden within the Zone.

New Weapons and Base Building

Returning players will find familiar locations now bustling with activity. New settlements include areas like Car Dump and Army Warehouses. The GP37V2, a modified version of the GP37 rifle, enriches the arsenal of tactical players, complete with a suppressor and advanced firing modes.

Depending on decisions made during the questline, players can unlock a new hub in the Burnt Forest, providing essential services from NPCs and personalized amenities such as a rest area and stash access.
