MSI has been rapidly expanding its lineup of OLED monitors, and the latest addition is the MAG 274QP QD-OLED. This model closely mirrors the specifications of the previously released 272QP, continuing the trend of delivering high-quality displays for gaming enthusiasts. The introduction of this new monitor demonstrates MSI’s commitment to providing various options at different price points, ensuring accessibility for a broader range of consumers.
Introducing the MAG 274QP QD-OLED Gaming Monitor
Esteemed hardware manufacturer MSI has unveiled its latest gaming monitor, the MAG 274QP QD-OLED, which is now available on Amazon. This model follows in the footsteps of the MAG 272QP QD-OLED launched earlier in September. A close comparison of the specifications reveals that while the new 274QP is slightly limited in connectivity, it notably features Samsung’s 3rd gen QD-OLED panel, offering a cutting-edge display experience.

The 274QP QD-OLED comes with a 26.5-inch display boasting a 2440 x 1440p resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. Gamers can enjoy a seamless experience thanks to the monitor’s Adaptive Sync technology, which eliminates screen tearing. Certified by VESA for ClearMR 13000, it minimizes motion blur, and with a response time of 0.03 ms GtG, it delivers exceptional performance. The color gamut spans 99% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB, and 138% sRGB, ensuring vivid and accurate color reproduction.
Performance and Pricing

The monitor supports a Delta E < 2 for impressive color accuracy, making it suitable even for professional color grading. With a true 10-bit color depth, users can expect up to 1.07 billion colors. Although the brightness levels are modest at 200 nits SDR and 400 nits HDR, similar to the 272QP model, the absence of a USB Type C port with Alt DP and the added weight of 1 kg are worth noting. The connectivity options include 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DP 1.4a.

The price of the MAG 274QP QD-OLED currently stands at $499 on Amazon, a rise from the $420 launch price of the MAG 272QP QD-OLED in China. As competition in the OLED monitor market intensifies, it will be interesting to see if the price adjusts in the coming months.
