Capcom has outlined a comprehensive plan to rectify performance glitches, emphasizing improvements in CPU and GPU performance, load reduction, and introducing PC-specific tweaks to lessen processing demands. The update comes at a crucial time, as the game’s remarkable sales, particularly on PC, have been overshadowed by mixed reviews and user dissatisfaction.
Performance Boosts Across All Platforms
In an effort to win back player trust, Capcom is deploying a free Title Update 4 that will feature extensive performance enhancements applicable to all platforms. With over 100 behind-the-scenes improvements, the update will focus on refining CPU and GPU operations and reducing processing strain. Additionally, come January, a PC-exclusive update will roll out, offering further advancements and optimization to be implemented in February.

Recently, at the PlayStation Partner Awards 2025 Japan Asia in Tokyo, Monster Hunter Wilds clinched both the Grand Award and the User’s Choice Award. During an interview before the ceremony, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Yuya Tokuda acknowledged players’ concerns and expressed gratitude for the accolades received despite early setbacks.
“Immediately after release, we acknowledged the issues surrounding content volume and difficulty,” Tokuda noted. “Despite this, we are truly grateful for the awards and the feedback from our players.
