Job System Unveiled

In Octopath Traveler 0, the protagonist can unlock and utilize eight distinct Jobs, each with its own set of unique skills akin to traditional RPG classes.

Changing Jobs for the Protagonist:

  1. Press Triangle (PlayStation) / Y (Xbox) / X (Nintendo Switch) to access the Main Menu
  2. Select the Skills tab
  3. Select Protagonist’s Jobs option
  4. Choose your Job

Only the protagonist can switch Jobs, while other characters are locked into their fixed Job roles.
