Intel’s Arc GPUs Make a Splash in German Sales
In an unexpected twist, Intel’s Arc Battlemage GPUs have surged in popularity at a major German retailer, Mindfactory. This development is noteworthy as gamers typically gravitate towards AMD or NVIDIA, given their reputation for delivering faster options. However, the allure of Intel’s 12 GB VRAM is growing, especially with the current market’s uncertainty around future GPU pricing.
Intel’s Rise in the GPU Market
Weekly sales often highlight AMD and NVIDIA’s dominance across the globe, but Intel’s Arc Battlemage GPUs are carving out a niche for themselves. Despite not being as well-known as the offerings from AMD’s RDNA 4 or NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series, the Arc B580 has managed to make its mark in the top 15 best-selling GPUs at Mindfactory. Last week, the Radeon RX 9070 XT led the sales with 725 units, while Arc B580 found its way into the spotlight, selling twice as many units as several other popular models.

Arc Series Gains Popularity
The Arc B580’s presence at Mindfactory, with almost 40 units sold, is indicative of its rising appeal, despite previously negligible sales. Stronger performances were also observed with the Arc B570 and Arc Pro B50, each selling 20 units, matching the RX 9070’s numbers for the same period. This marks a significant shift for Intel, pushing their market share closer to 4% at this retailer.

Revenue Share and Market Impact
Intel’s entry-level Arc A310 has also seen respectable sales with 30 units last week. Although Arc B series’ sales figures don’t yet match expectations, they are starting to gain traction due to their 12 GB/10 GB VRAM and competitive pricing. Intel’s revenue share has now surpassed 1%, while NVIDIA and AMD hold 56.13% and 42.53%, respectively. Despite AMD selling 1545 units versus NVIDIA’s 1140, Intel’s overall sales exceeded 100 units, with an average selling price of 231 Euros.
