What is the HyperX Arena
The HyperX Arena, a 30,000 square-foot venue, is renowned for hosting international esports events and competitions by various leagues and creators. It boasts over 160 PC and console stations, an advanced broadcast center, and a towering 50-foot LED video wall. This year, the arena has been the stage for several notable esports events including 2XKO, Rematch, and Marvel Rivals tournaments in honor of World Esports Day. Recently, it was also the location for an SNK World Championship qualifier for games like Fatal Fury: City of Wolves and Samurai Showdown through Vegas Climax.
2025 has been a landmark year for the HyperX Arena, not only for the World Bar Flair Championship but also as the host of the first in-person World Mahjong Tour finals, with players battling for a $100,000 prize pool. The previous year saw the arena hosting the Microsoft Excel World Championship, a unique event that highlighted the strategic use of spreadsheet software, with a $60,000 prize pool.
