FURIA’s Form Continues
With its recent victory at IEM Chengdu 2025, FURIA entered the BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 as a strong contender for the last Tier 1 trophy before the StarLadder Budapest Major. The team began their group stage journey by overcoming PaiN Gaming 2-1, securing a winner’s match against Team Vitality. FURIA’s defense stood out on Nuke, leading to a 13-11 win. Though Team Vitality forced a decider on Inferno with an overtime win on Overpass, FURIA’s coordinated attacks and solid defense led them to a 2-1 series victory and a spot in the playoffs.
In the semi-finals, FURIA faced PaiN Gaming once again, dominating Nuke with a 13-3 score and wrapping up the series on Overpass with a 16-12 win, completing a clean 2-0 sweep.
A Team Falcons Face Off
The Grand Final saw FURIA going head-to-head with Team Falcons, who had swept Team Vitality in the semi-finals. Falcons started strong with a 13-3 victory on Inferno, but FURIA bounced back on Nuke, leveling the series with a 13-9 win. On Train, after two nail-biting overtime rounds, FURIA’s AWPer Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko’s outstanding performance secured a 19-15 win. The final map, Mirage, saw FURIA overturn an early deficit to win 19-16 in overtime, clinching a 3-1 series victory.
This victory in Hong Kong positions FURIA well for the upcoming Major, expected to be one of the most competitive events in the CS2 era. Despite the loss, Team Falcons’ second-place finish showcases their consistent performance as they aim to conclude 2025 on a positive note.
