The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is set to kick off its 2026 season with some exciting developments. Announced on November 21st, 2025, the RLCS will team up with the Epic Games Store to enhance the esports circuit. This partnership marks a significant milestone as Rocket League celebrates its tenth year of competitive play, having launched in 2016 and grown to include prominent teams like Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and NRG.
Epic Games Store Partnership

Competitive Highlights and Schedule
The season began with online Open tournaments on November 14th, setting the stage for fierce competition. Across Europe, Team Vitality and Karmine Corp led the charge, with Spacestation Gaming and Gen.G rising to the top in North America. South America’s groups saw Changuitos FC and Novadrift secure leading positions. The top eight from each group moved on to the Group Stage, where 16 teams battle for a coveted spot in the Playoffs.
Looking Forward
Following NRG’s triumphant run at the 2025 RLCS World Championship, the new season brings a fresh start with the Kick-Off LAN event in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December 5th to 7th. Eight elite teams will vie for the first title of the season. After that, anticipation builds for the first Major in North America in February, followed by Major 2 at the iconic La Défense Arena in Paris in May.
