The multiplayer section of the Grand Hub has become a fan-favourite, and Diva’s appearances certainly spice things up! This guide is all about Diva’s performances and the buffs tower with it for enhancing gameplay.
When to Catch the Diva’s Performances
During the night cycle, the Grand Hub may host the Diva’s songs on stage, providing buffs for hunters. She usually goes on stage two times at the beginning of the night and end of the night. It is the large stage that you see at the back, where the Grand Hub Diva performs. The times for her appearances are random. The Grand Hub’s timer cannot be adjusted at will, so finding her comes down to luck to get diva buffs. Since the hub’s time does not run with others, hunters can also do a hunt and return to see the Grand Hub Diva performing, if waiting around for 50 minutes is not ideal.
When the music fades and NPCs near the Grand Hub Diva, we know that the show is about to start! It’s easy to tell when to go over, with more players joining the crowd. During the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, the Diva added a new midnight show that alternated between seasonal songs and standard songs, making it feel like a concert. She may continue to do event (dance) of this type to provide buffs in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Benefits of the Diva’s Buffs
If a Hunter is close to a Diva at the end of her performance, they receive a buff. On normal nights, there will be two buffs, possibly a third during special events. The text in the game indicates that stats have been enhanced by the voice of prayer and gratitude of a diva buff. However, we do not find the diva buff. It could be tough to identify the new diva buffs in Monster Hunter without knowing the stats or active buffs of the hunter from items/meals. The sudden transition from nighttime to morning can be visually shocking and while the way she disappears with the sunrise is a neat visual effect, the sudden bright flash can be quite unpleasant.
