Comic Con India is about to create a buzz in Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur, by hosting its pop culture extravaganza there for the very first time. The event is set to take place from January 4th to 6th, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC). This exciting initiative is organized in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan under its AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) policy. Tickets can be secured exclusively through the District by Zomato app.
Exciting Features Await Visitors
Nodwin Gaming, the event’s organiser, has announced a lineup that promises something for every fan. This includes comic launches, cosplay contests, immersive VR and gaming zones, and panels with prominent creators and filmmakers. Visitors can dive into the world of beloved Indian comics like Suppandi, Chacha Chaudhary, and Shikari Shambhu, as well as explore international franchises and browse through various merchandise stalls.
The Jaipur Comic Con will coincide with the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Convenor of TiE Global Summit, highlighted the collaboration’s goal to nurture local talent and boost employment opportunities.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, emphasized the significance of bringing Comic Con to Jaipur, celebrating the vibrant spirit of the city’s art and storytelling culture. He remarked that Jaipur, renowned as the Pink City, is a perfect location for this landmark event.
Comic Con’s Expanding Footprint
The announcement of Jaipur as a host city adds to the growing list of locations for Comic Con India, which was acquired by NODWIN Gaming in 2024. Recent events have seen Comic Con held in Hyderabad, in conjunction with a DreamHack festival. Future editions are scheduled for Delhi (December 5th to 7th), Bangalore (December 20th and 21st), with plans to visit Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
