Co-op Spotlight: Top Announcements from Summer GameFest 2025

Over six months before the festive season, the gaming atmosphere is already bubbling. The Summer Game Fest 2025 has revealed a lot of announcements and for fans of co-op game, the season might feel like a gift itself. Even though people anticipated more co-op titles, things that were revealed were quite promising. Here’s a breakdown of the best multiplayer games announced at the various showcases.

Survival and Suspicion Encounter in the Eyes of Hellfire

One of the most unsettling revelations was Eyes of Hellfire a five player online horror game from Blumhouse Games. Drawing inspiration from the notorious Hellfire Club in Ireland, players are trapped in a run-down lodge where things become suspicious and mysterious. It has traits and hidden motives of its own. While sometimes those goals overlap, there’s always a chance for betrayal. The gameplay is similar to betrayal board games which used turn-based mechanics with cards. It won’t come out until it’s ready, but it will come to Steam Early Access.
