Caitlyn Set to Power Up 2XKO Lineup in January 2026

Riot Games is expanding its fighting game roster by introducing a new champion from the League of Legends universe. Fans of both the game and the animated series Arcane can look forward to the arrival of Caitlyn in the action-packed world of 2XKO. This exciting addition was announced at The Game Awards 2025, creating a buzz among the community. Caitlyn will make her debut in January 2026, aligning with the game’s console launch. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users will soon have the opportunity to explore her dynamic gameplay.

Caitlyn’s Gameplay and 2XKO Roster

While not much has been revealed about Caitlyn’s in-game abilities, expectations are high that she will bring her iconic marksman skills and zoning tactics from League of Legends to the 2XKO battlefield. Players might see her signature traps and nets integrated into her combat style. Her addition will boost the 2XKO roster to a total of 12 champions, joining the ranks of Ahri, Blitzcrank, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, Vi, Warwick, Yasuo, and Teemo, with Teemo being the most recent before Caitlyn, released on October 7th. Riot Games also plans to introduce four more characters throughout 2026.

2XKO’s Competitive Tournaments

In efforts to strengthen 2XKO’s presence in the esports scene, Riot Games has announced its support for 22 community-led tournaments, including the prominent DreamHack Atlanta event. This initiative falls under their sponsorship program, First Impact. The upcoming highlight is the Christmas Clash tournament hosted by FlyQuest, boasting a $3,000 prize pool. This event is part of the Road to Frosty Faustings series, which leads into the prestigious Frosty Faustings XVIII, a renowned festival set to feature a 2XKO tournament with a $50,000 prize pool on January 30th, 2026.
