Esports tournament organiser BLAST has extended and broadened its partnership with analytics provider Shikenso Analytics, reaffirming a relationship that began in 2023. The renewed agreement ensures that Shikenso will continue delivering in-depth brand performance metrics across BLAST’s growing portfolio of international competitions.
Shikenso’s platform will provide data for tournaments such as BLAST Premier, Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS), Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS), BLAST Slam, BLAST R6, and the newly announced BLAST.tv Austin Major.
Expanding a Global Footprint in Esports
The partnership is part of Shikenso’s broader strategy to support top-tier esports organisations. Earlier this year, the German analytics firm signed a long-term agreement with the ESL FACEIT Group, further solidifying its footprint in the competitive gaming scene.
Founded in 2017, Shikenso uses advanced technologies like image and audio recognition, sentiment analysis, and audience behaviour tracking to measure brand visibility across multiple platforms — from broadcast media and OTT services to livestreams and social media.
Trusted by Major Esports and Sports Brands
In addition to tournament organisers, Shikenso collaborates with leading esports teams such as G2 Esports, and works with prominent talent agencies including Fuse, Sportfive, and GroupM. These partnerships enable stakeholders to better assess the return on investment for brand sponsorships.
Recently, Shikenso also extended its agreement with UK-based esports organisation Fnatic for another year. Outside of esports, the company has stepped into traditional sports, partnering with Belgium’s Pro League, Club Brugge, and the Icon League founded by footballer Toni Kroos.
Unlocking Enhanced Value for Partners
Commenting on the renewed agreement, BLAST’s Commercial Director James Brown stated that working with Shikenso since 2023 has significantly improved the organisation’s access to fast, actionable sponsorship data. According to him, expanding the partnership was a logical move to enhance value for BLAST’s partners during a landmark year.
Brown added that 2025 will be a major year for the organisation, with events scheduled across four continents and a growing list of partners. The extended collaboration with Shikenso is expected to support this expansion by delivering comprehensive analytical support across all major events.
