Extra Tickets Released for ALGS Championship
The ticket sale kicks off on December 7th at 3:30 PM PST / December 8th at 8:30 AM JST, offering fans a chance to secure their spot at the pinnacle of Apex Legends esports. Due to overwhelming demand, EA has decided to open up more premium tickets. This strategic move includes reconfiguring the seating plan to welcome more attendees to the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME in Sapporo, Japan.
For those who already hold a General Admission (GA) ticket, a limited number of upgrades will be available this weekend. Fans can purchase their tickets through the ALGS Global Championship ticket storefront. The four-day premium package, priced at JP¥15,200 (~$96.65/£72.60), includes seat selection, exclusive giveaway items, and a souvenir badge.
The Apex Legends Global Series Championship
As the highlight of the Apex Legends esports circuit, the ALGS Championship gathers the best teams from around the world. From January 15th to 18th, 2026, 40 teams, including notable names like Alliance in EMEA and 100 Thieves in the Americas, will compete for a share of the $2 million (~£1.48 million) prize pool.
The championship unfolds over three stages, starting with the Group Stage, where teams are divided into four groups of ten, playing a single six-match series against each other. The competition then advances to the Bracket Stage on Saturday, determining the final 20 teams for the Finals.
The Match Point Finals on Sunday will feature a unique format, where the first team to reach a 50-point threshold and secure a first-place victory will be crowned the ALGS Year 5 Champions. Previous champions, such as Year 4 underdog victors GoNext Esports, have left their mark on the competition, with anticipation high for which team will triumph in 2026.
