100 Thieves Reenters Counter-Strike Scene Through Roobet Collaboration

North American esports brand 100 Thieves is making a thrilling comeback to the competitive Counter-Strike scene. This move is powered by a significant partnership with Roobet, a crypto casino and sportsbook, which will be the presenting and naming rights sponsor for the new Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) team.

The Return of 100 Thieves Roobet

100 Thieves is re-entering the Counter-Strike arena with a new team named 100 Thieves Roobet, marking a bold return to one of the most prestigious titles in esports. Reports suggest this collaboration with Roobet is among the largest in the organization’s storied history, paving the way for their expansion into Europe. The establishment of a new training facility in Serbia will serve as both a training ground and a content hub for the global Counter-Strike community.

Jacob Toft-Andersen, President of 100 Thieves, expressed enthusiasm about the venture, emphasizing Europe’s central role in the Counter-Strike community and the significance of doing things the right way. Allen Temiz, Director of Partnerships at Roobet, shared similar sentiments, noting the partnership’s roots in their company’s origins.

Beyond competitive endeavors, both organizations are committed to philanthropy. For each player added to the roster, donations will be made to a charity of that player’s choice, with further contributions aligned with team milestones.

Expanding the 100 Thieves Brand Abroad

Established in 2017 by Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, 100 Thieves has gained fame through successes in titles like VALORANT and League of Legends. The organization previously fielded a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) team in 2020 but stepped back due to challenges. Now, following a merger with FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves is escalating its international efforts and continues partnerships with major brands such as Lexus, AT&T, and Razer.

While Roobet is known for its operations in crypto gambling across several regions, 100 Thieves assured that no gambling-related content will be featured on their social media channels as part of this cooperation.
