007 First Light Teams Up with NVIDIA and Reveals Official PC Specs

In the fast-paced world of gaming, exciting developments continue to emerge at major industry events. At CES 2026, NVIDIA revealed a lineup of PC games poised to utilize the cutting-edge capabilities of its GeForce RTX technologies. Among these titles is IO Interactive’s much-anticipated 007 First Light, a game set to redefine the PC gaming experience through its implementation of NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation.

007 First Light and NVIDIA’s Vision

007 First Light is set to harness the power of NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 technology, featuring Multi Frame Generation, which IO Interactive believes is crucial for fulfilling the studio’s creative vision for the game. Ulas Karademir, the Chief Technical Officer at IO Interactive, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that it enables them to deliver a seamless and immersive experience that matches the quality expected from the iconic James Bond franchise. “Performance, responsiveness, and visual fidelity, it all needs to feel effortless for the player, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX technologies including DLSS 4 enable us to deliver exactly that,” he explained. In a demonstration video, 007 First Light was shown running at nearly 300 frames per second, showcasing the power of GeForce RTX technology. Though the specific hardware used was not disclosed, it’s likely that a GeForce RTX 5090 was in play. As both the new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode and the game are set to release in spring, they are expected to be compatible when the game launches on May 27, 2026.

Technological Innovations and System Requirements

IO Interactive has disclosed the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for 007 First Light, presenting specs that seem manageable for players. The game continues to utilize the studio’s proprietary Glacier engine, famous from HITMAN, but with notable technological improvements. Key advancements include a new volumetric smoke system, fresh animation and AI systems, and enhanced shooting and cover mechanics. The minimum requirements target a performance of 1080p at 30 FPS, while the recommended specs aim for 1080p at 60 FPS.

Exciting Promotions and Final Thoughts

Adding to the excitement, NVIDIA and IO Interactive plan to give away a 007-themed GeForce RTX 5090 GPU through their social media platforms, encouraging fans to stay connected on X, Facebook, and Instagram for a chance to win. Despite the advancements, the absence of ray tracing in 007 First Light is notable, particularly considering its integration in HITMAN 3, which included ray-traced sun shadows and reflections since its release in 2021.
